IN/ARCH-The National Institute of Architecture and Archilovers present the XIV WORLD TRIENNAL OF ARCHITECTURE “INTERARCH 2015” in Sofia from May 17th-20th

Under the patronage of UNESCO

As part of its internationalization program, The National Institute of Architecture – IN/ARCH – is continuing its long-standing collaboration with Archilovers and is extending its vast experience in the selection of winning proposals for various editions of national and international architecture awards. This year, it is proud to announce its invitation to collaborate on Sofia’s latest Triennal of Architecture “INTERARCH 2015” (17-20 May 2015)

Thus, we would like to extend an invitation to all Italian design studios to publish their projects and finished works (completed within the past ten years) which represent the themes of the XIV WORLD TRIENNAL OF ARCHITECTURE “INTERARCH 2015” on the web platform www.archilovers.com

A combined IN/ARCH – Archilovers jury will decide which projects or works to summon to participate in INTERARCH 2015.

The projects and works submitted must contain all of the following information, as well as images and drawings:
1) Project title and intended use
2) Names of designers and/or design studio (with respective email addresses and phone numbers)
3) Project location (if applicable)
4) Year of project completion (if applicable)

Designers who wish to candidate their projects or works must sign in to the web platform www.archilovers.com and register by filling out the appropriate form. To publish their entries, users may then proceed to upload their project sheet and a minimum of 6 images (minimum size: 2000x1500 pixel, max 2 Mb for each photo), 4 drawings (in jpeg or pdf) and a descriptive text in Italian and English (maximum 4000 characters, spaces included)

To publish your own images and text, you’ll need any internet connection and any of the following web browsers: Mozilla Firefox (version 12.0 or higher), Internet Explorer (version 8.0 or higher), Safari (version 4.0 or higher), or Chrome (version 12.0 or higher).

You can publish your projects for the competition on www.archilovers.com from 10:00 am on (date) to 10:00 am on 15/04/2015, the deadline for the completion of all operations.

THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE THE UNION OF ARCHITECTS IN BULGARIA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION AND GEODESY IN SOFIA ANNOUNCE THE FORTHCOMING TRIENNIAL “INTERARCH 2015” TO BE HELD UNDER THE AUSPICES OF UNESCO.

“INTERARCH – SOFIA”, now a Triennial, is a well established activity of the world architectural society since 1981 and an internationally appreciated contribution to the integrity of the diverse field of architecture of contemporaneity. As a continuation of its traditional philosophy “INTERARCH 2015” is projecting the opening of an international forum for architects, designers, theoreticians and students from all over the world, exchanging ideas with leading masters of the profession and profiling a panorama of the tendencies and achievements of contemporary architecture.

THEORETICAL FORUM AND AUTHORS CONFERENCES OF RENOWNED MASTERS OF THE WORLD ARCHITECTURE AND MEMBERS OF IAA

As a traditional continuation of a more than 30 years of experience and as a core activity of the “INTREARCH 2015” , the panel is conceptualized by the topic “ Values in Architecture“ and foresees the invited presentations of most esteemed world architects, including the IAA members, in a provisional list of renowned speakers, such as Fumihiko Maki, Dominique Perrault, Massimiliano Fuksas, Erick van Egeraat, Francisco Serrano, etc.

EXHIBITION “LEADING MASTERS OF CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE – IAA MEMBERS”

EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF PROJECTS AND BUILT WORKS.

EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF PROJECTS AND STUDENTS DIPLOMA PROJECTS.

International juries are to adjudicate honorary awards and laureate diplomas to the winners in the different competition panels.

THEMATIC FORMATS OF THE EXHIBITIONS:

- Architectural Structures of the Future;
- Innovations and Traditional Architecture;
- Architectural Identity;
- Architecture and Ecology;
- Sustainable Cities.

The participants should submit their projects electronically via the e-mail of IAA. All graphic data should be arranged ready for printing on a format A1(84.2cm./59.4cm). The data contained should be profiling their architectural projects and\or built works, including texts (in English), drawings, sketches and color or black & white photos. The maximum number of panels per participation fee is 4. The IAA is responsible for printing and preparing the panels for exposition.
